My name is Chantal, I was born in 1980, and I am the mother of four daughters (2008, 2010, 2013 and 2015). Motherhood has deeply shaped my life and profoundly transformed my professional path.
Originally, I worked as a teacher. After the birth of my first daughter, it quickly became clear to me that my idea of balancing work and family on equal terms did not align with reality. Teaching demanded more time, presence and energy than I could give alongside the needs of my child.
I am someone who commits fully; halfway solutions are not for me. I therefore made a conscious decision to leave my position in order to be present for my children and to experience this intense and fleeting phase of life mindfully.
At the same time, I felt the need for meaningful work beyond family life. This led me to train as a breastfeeding counsellor with La Leche League. This path allowed me to support other mothers professionally while still leaving enough space for my own family.
Motherhood also reshaped my values. Sustainability, attachment and a mindful use of resources became central to our family life. Breastfeeding on demand, babywearing and cloth nappies accompanied us from the very beginning. In hindsight, not everything was perfect, but these choices carried us reliably through everyday life.
After the birth of my second daughter, I discovered back carrying. A different wrap, a different weave, and my fascination grew. My collection of wraps expanded, my experience deepened, and the desire to pass on this knowledge emerged. I trained as a babywearing consultant with ClauWi and later, for better compatibility with family life, completed further in-depth training in France with PSETUA (now TELP). There, I deepened my knowledge of infant physiology, textiles, the history of babywearing, and the use of woven and stretchy wraps.
For me, babywearing is far more than a technique; it is an essential part of family life. It offers closeness, security and freedom of movement in daily life with several children. Whether doing homework, crafting or walking to school, babywearing creates connection and relief.
What began as a passion became a profession. I became self-employed, completed additional training as a cloth nappy consultant and consciously expanded my range of services. My work is always shaped around the needs of families and my own. My youngest children were present at consultations from birth, grounding and enriching my practice in a very real way.
As our family grew, so did my sense of responsibility towards the environment. We live consciously, avoid disposable products as much as possible and actively reduce waste. Sustainability is not an abstract ideal for me, but a lived everyday practice.
Alongside this, my interest in natural healing methods deepened. I completed further training in homeopathy and Bach flower remedies and have been a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner since the end of 2019. Working with Bach flowers allows me to gently support people in restoring harmony between body, mind and emotions.
A further, coherent extension of my work is light frequency work. This subtle energetic approach creates space for deep relaxation, nervous system regulation and inner clarity. It complements my attachment-oriented work on a more subtle level and is aimed at people seeking calm, stress relief and renewed strength.
Today, I bring together all these fields of experience: attachment, sustainability and energetic balance. In my work, I accompany families and individuals holistically, attentively and individually, with professional expertise, lived experience and a great deal of heart.
